Cruising in Sporades

Sporades is a complex of several islands that belongs to the Aegean Sea. An ideal cruise in Sporades includes sailing in the islands of Skiathos, Skopelos and Allonisos.

Skiathos

Approaching Skiathos from its north side don’t forget to visit Lalaria beach. A white pebble beach approachable only by boat! Unorganized and quiet, Lalaria beach is the best place for anyone who wants to dive in crystal light blue waters and spend a peaceful day under the natural shade of the rocks that surround the bay.

In the south part of Skiathos you will find Bananistas beach one of the most popular organized bays of the island. If you feel like partying then this is the place to be!

On the other side of the same peninsula and minutes away from Bananistas, another beautiful and famous beach is located. Koukounaries beach is maybe the largest shore in Skiathos island and offers a wide variety of activities such as bars, restaurants and water sports.

Finally, on your way to Skiathos main port, don’t forget to pay a visit to Tsougrias Beach, a small island right across Skiathos main town. Tsougrias is definitely one of the most promising bays of the island surrounded only by white sand and turquoise crystal water beaches!

Skopelos

Reaching the island of Skopelos it’s worthwhile to spend a morning at Milia beach. Milia is a gorgeous emerald beach and for many people on of the best on the island.

Continue sailing south and you will meet Panormos, a picturesque village of Skopelos with a wonderful long gulf next to it! You will find plenty of sailing and motor yachts anchored there. Join their company and drop your anchor too! We would suggest to prepare and enjoy your meal on board right above the stunning waters of Panormos!

Next thing you can’t miss before reaching the main port and town of Skopelos and while sailing across the south part of the island, is taste a fresh fish in the beautiful marina of Agnontas village and enjoy the velvet crystal waters of Stafylos beach.

Allonisos

Start your cruise in Allonisos from the south part of the island by visiting Patitiri village. Patitiri as one of the most well-known villages in Allonisos, attracts many sea travelers in its port and gives them the chance to take a walk in its picturesque streets, enjoy their meal in a fish tavern next to the port or swim in the light blue clear waters of its beach!

Sailing the southeast side of Allonisos and a few nautical miles away of Patitiri village it’s time to meet one of the top beaches not only of Allonisos island but for many people of the whole Sporades. Chrisi Milia which means “Golden Apple Tree” will charm everyone that visits it by its stunning emerald crystal waters, its sandy shore and seabed and the natural forest that surrounds it!

If you dream about an old, traditional fishing village that can travel you back in time, then you have to visit Steni Vala! Drop your anchor in its small port and spend a peaceful and quiet night in the village! Remember, reach the port early enough in order to fine a place to anchor, especially if you sail at high season!
